Muscles and Joints

The Source for Common Pains

Muscle inflammations are normally treated by doctors with anti-inflammatory pain killers, however, if the inflamed muscle is trying to heal over a joint that has slipped out of place chronic inflammations will occur. Going to a chiropractor and having the joint re-aligned will help the healing process of the inflamed muscle.

A chiropractor may suggest certain types of exercises to preform once a day in order to also help in the healing process. An example of such an exercise would be to use a light free-weight in order to help restrengthen the muscle that is inflammed.

Any athlete, whether in school or in a professional sport, can think of at least one time that they have been injured. These injuries may have gone untreated however, due to the lack of knowledge about chiropractic care.

Finding that a nasty fall has left the lower back, hips, or upper back and shoulders in pain, could mean the joints are no longer properly aligned. This could cause muscles that have been injured to not heal correctly, leaving a life time of chronic pain. Seeing a chiropractor can help prevent the improper healing of muscle tissue over joints that are not in their proper places.

Once the joints are all back in accurate alignment, the muscles will be able to start healing properly again. Visiting a chiropractor the entire time the injuries are healing is highly recommended to better enable a quick, and far less painful, recovery.
